How to Apply for Collection Verification on TradePort
Our goal at TradePort is to set up our community for success, which has led us to create a system to verify collections that meet a high standard of safety, authenticity, and significance within the Web3 community. This article outlines the meaning of verification status, eligibility criteria, and the application process.
What is a verified collection?
A verified collection indicates that, from a technical standpoint, the collection is safe to be traded and there are no known exploits or vulnerabilities in the contract. While all traders are encouraged to do their own research when purchasing any NFT, this can enhance the experience for NFT traders looking to dive into new collections.
In addition to safety, verification highlights NFT collections that have met a high standard of trading volume, and/or feature work from a recognized artist, company, or figure.
Is there criteria to apply for verification?
Yes. Collections may apply for verification after achieving the equivalent of $50k USD in secondary volume. Completing the application does not guarantee that your collection will receive a badge, and please note that a badge is not an endorsement or recommendation by TradePort or its team members.
